White Coat Ceremony Interview With Sandra Gold

White Coat Ceremony here at Rutgers New Jersey
Medical School is a very special one for my family and for the Seiden family. The White Coat Ceremony here is special because
this is the second school in the country who opted to buy into the idea of medical students
understanding from day one what their responsibilities would be as they become doctors. Arnold always felt that starting medical school
without a guide to that was lame. And so, this is an example of when it happens,
how good it is. And for the medical students to be able to
experience the taking of an oath. The White Coat Ceremony is about oaths, not coats.
