Patagonia Men’s Nano-Air Jacket

Utilizing an innovative breakthrough insulation
and lightweight durable materials, the Patagonia Men’s Nano-Air Jacket provides serious performance
for all of your mountain adventures. Let’s take a closer look. This jacket is constructed with a lightweight
and durable, 100 percent nylon rip stop shell with a plain weave liner that offers generous
mechanical stretch and breathability. The insulation is 60 grams of Patagonia’s full
range insulation. It is a warm and stretchy insu-lation that offers an unprecedented air
permeability, so the breathability that you get with these outer materials as well as
the insulation is excellent. As well as that mechanical stretch, it provides a really wonderful
insulation piece. Some of the features to mention on the jacket
include a full length front zipper with an insulated storm flap so you get excellent
draft protection there. We do have some pockets in play so we have got two zippered pockets
with kind of this welted zipper here. So you have got really low profile and low bulk pockets
that integrate well with a pack or a har-ness, so two hand warmer pockets there. We have
also got a chest pocket with that same welted zipper, so nice small pocket at the chest
to stow away some smaller items. We do have elastic around the cuffs for fit,
so you keep out that cold, drafty air, seals in the insulation without restricting your
wrists or being too tight there. So that is an excel-lent fit enhancement. We have also
got a draw cord hem. So there is two points on either side, one point on either side where
you can cinch in the hem if you are wearing a pack or a harness. You can make sure that
the jacket is not going to ride up on you. To enhance the fit and functionality we do
have the iconic Nano Puff brick quilting in the side of the jacket, so you have got a
little bit of, you know, separated insulation there. It keeps it trim. It keeps it nice
and also offers some breathability in the sides of the jacket. The fit of this jacket is fairly slim. I am
wearing a medium right now. And it is fitting relatively close to the body. It is meant
to be a layering piece, so I could see putting a lightweight base layer, a mid weight base
layer under it, but it is meant to be that kind of mid layer piece so you can definitely
throw a shell, soft shell or hard shell on top and be extra warm for those mountain adventures. And there you have it. Serious insulation
for the active adventurer, the Patagonia Men’s Nano-Air Jacket is warm and super breathable.

  1. Ive now seen a couple of reviews where the presenter states what size they are wearing. Great! However, it would be helpful to know the presenters height, weight and waist size as well.

  2. Is this nano air jacket still available because I can't find it anywhere! All there seems to be is a nano air hybrid or the nano air hoody
