  1. Make sure to click the icon on the top-right corner of the video to vote in this week's poll! Would you ever date a doctor? Thanks for watching and supporting, love you all!

  2. One of my previous GP's told me that I should go to church more often after I told him I was having black outs. No other questions or tests. I was in my teens which started my distrust of doctors at an early time of my life. I have enjoyed your videos, though and wish more doctors would/could take your approach towards healthcare.

  3. Ok I gots a question. I've had people tell me that marijuana smoke doesn't affect my asthma and it's actually good for my asthma. I don't believe them because I feel any smoke makes my esophagus agitated. What are your thoughts??

  4. I just want some passionate short lived intense affairs with a series of doctors.

Then I can go on with my life, fulfilled with stories to tell.

  5. Dr.Mike….what can I do for hair fall? I am having moderately hair fall and I am sad. Please advise if u see this message

  6. Huh. I suddenly may have answers as to why I get so annoyed and frustrated when I hear techno music. I never knew why and it's not just because "it's not my style". Maybe it's the instruments or whatever.

I can be in the best mood and then hear the techno music and EVERYTHING suddenly pisses me off.

  7. THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH for the talk about dating a person in the med field! Im a graphic artist currently dating a med school student and im just trying hard to be patient !

  8. BRACE YOURSELF FOR A VERY LONG COMMENT! i actually had misophonia aswell and i went through anxiety, fear of noises etc. that resulted in isolating myself completely in my room for 3/4 of a year (except for going to school ofc) and developing even more rage whenever i heard specific noises (eating, drinking, coughing, whistling, yawning, pencil on paper, fingernail biting, snoring, giggling, sneezing, typing and clicking, any tapping sounds etc.). I threw tantrums and felt a strong urge to break things or severely injure people. one sound i also dreaded was the sound of someone climbing stairs, according to my theory that was bcz whenever i heard my mom climbing the stairs, i knew she would want to talk to me about what is going on and i had built up so much hatred toward my family. i had developed severe depression by then. i didnt talk to anyone and all of my problems and concerns that i was longing to talk about had stowed up in my head. i hadnt talked bcz of what one of my sisters had told me once: "if you don't have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all". she said this, because i had become very rude to people whenever i talked to anyone. what she said hurt me deeply and i was convinced that my family hated me and didnt pay attenion to me and thought "if they dont care, then i'll show them what its like when i'm gone" as you probably assume by now that resulted in attempting suicide twice. (i am now in therapy and i go see my psychologist every week which helps alot, but i still struggle with the talking)

  9. I love how I came from Mykie’s video and one of the questions is about an artist dating a doctor and he calls her an artist in her video!

  10. It’s so funny that Dr Mike says Never Google Medical things but yet says “hold on let me google this”!! 😂😂😂 only Kidding love your videos.😀

  11. I was in the hospital for UC flare and med students were practicing exams on me, and one put the stethoscope to my belly. In the other room there were construction sounds and they got really confused by the thumping. Your video reminded me of that and I really hope he isn't still embarrassed about saying 'what's that weird thumping?'

  12. Idk if you watch The Good Doctor but if you don't you should it's about an autistic guy that becomes a doctor and saving a bunch of lives when no one believes in him

  13. When he said "Be Patient" I thought you should be a patient first so you could have a relationship with a doctor! Hahaha

  14. Cells At Work is an anime about red and white blood cells and how they work in your body, for example, it shows the red blood cells delivering oxygen to your common cells in your body. Thw white blood cells protecting the red and common cells from staph, flus, colds and bacteria.

  15. RE: Mind/body disorders – pseudo-obstruction of the intestines.  We even transplant for it, however, as it's caused by the mind and not by a physical disease process, it's not always successful and reoccurs. Very sad.

  16. I have migraines and I was so pleasantly surprised when an anti anxiety medication fixed that. I thought it was all physical but a good dr cut to the heart of the thing and got me help. Cool to hear you talk about that intersection in care

  17. Yes, but the mind body connection goes both ways. Being stressed mentally can cause physical ailments, but having a physical ailment can cause mental stress as well.

  18. The beauty of living in the US? I mean, if you compare to theocracies, it’s undoubtedly better, but out of all the first world countries, the US is the most religious one, and that’s because religion is being forced in by older generations. Ever read the words “God bless America” in your money? Well, originally it was “E pluribus unum” (from many, one), but religious extremists changed it. Also, did you know that you must be a Christian to be president of the US? That’s an utterly ridiculous requirement for a country that prides itself with supposed “freedom of religion”.

  19. “I’ve never smoked. I’ve never done drugs in my life.”
    “I’ve tried hookah.”
Those statements are contradictory. Choose one.

  20. Meanwhile, I am watching this video with earbuds in because the sound of the microwave was causing me major anxiety. That happens to me a lot with a lot of sounds. Maybe I have misophonia.

  21. I had a friend who had a paralysis on her right arm and hand, because she was so anxious to do test in school, that she initially faked illnesses, and then for months she couldn't even grab the pen to write

  22. Why do your videos have a very subtle background beat? Almost like a heartbeat but not quite. It is annoying!! LOL And I learned something new. Well, a new name. I think I have misophonia. I react strongly to repetitive noises but I do not realize this anxiety is building up in me until I explode. Or erupt. ugh

  23. You're life is meaningless if you did not consider who you are worshipping. Thanks for this video. I'm inspired but not totally. You need to be spiritually connected to God inside the Church of Christ. Godbless 😊

  24. You just missed something important. It's not science, art or religion. You missed the experience of having with the Spirit. What a waste of life you have. And that smile you have. Being awesome is not everything.

  25. “Advice on dating a doctor.. be PATIENT” LOL. So you're a cultural Atheist, interesting, you're the proof that you don't need religion/God(s) to be happy, you be healthy and let love flow in and out of you, be positive and try to be the nest version of yourself daily and try to be happy and enjoy life

  26. Doctor's save lives . God has instilled in Doctor's out of this world wisdom. God bless Doctor's. Of course I'd date a Doctor. They are the creme dela creme coz all of them are very very successful and very very kind to people

  27. There's an app called choices: stories you play and an animated story book inside it called Open Heart about a young doctor starting a residency. I think you should read it. Also your very attractive.

  28. It will be kind of embarrassing getting check by Dr. Mike. Even though for him is normal, for me would be so embarrasing. I went to the Dr. Once and was gonna get check by a doctor. I was expecting an old guy and i was wrong. A very handsome young guy just walks in smiling. I was so embarrased the whole time. 😂😂😂😂

  29. Dr. Mike thank you for explaining about mind body connections! I suffer from Migraines and my trigger is stress. I literally laughed at my doctor when he explained how my internalizing the stress in my life was physically effecting me. He said the saying “stress can kill you” was not necessarily just a joke!🤷🏽‍♀️

  30. Not to get too controversial, but I’ve noticed that medicine and law are areas that attract big egos. The thing about big egos is that usually there’s a fragile underbelly. I wonder if anyone has advice for dating people in these professions because I think ego and the need to be admired/validated that often comes along with it can really mess a relationship up.

  31. i love how you're always so positive and passionate about healthcare and just as yourself as a person. Keep it up! (:

  32. I don't have misophonia but I can relate. A lot of sounds like people eating, breathing, scratching ect… makes me irratated easily. I get really pissy and anti social

  33. Hello doctor Mike,
I have a question regarding thyroid issues such as hypothyroidism and the ability to conceive. Is it possible to become infertile?

  34. Hey doc Mike…can you tell me the basic symptoms of diabetes….cause I doubt my mother is suffering from one but refused to get diagnosed saying she's fine….the symptoms I noticed are her urge to urination increased…from last 2 weeks I guess….and she's sweet tooth she needs something sweet after every meal….I don't know if it's just me fussing around?? Kindly help…

    Ps Love your channel

  35. Would love to see a Vid on Williams Syndrome if possible. I found out since having my daughter who has it no one really knows about it and are always surprised when its mentioned!

  36. I have misophonia and finally found a therapist who deals with tinnitus and misophonia and hopefully when I go it will start to die down

PS: I am very good at describing how I feel when people are eating around me now because of how many people I wanted to tell how I felt when they were eating, me getting annoyed, and them telling me to get over it

  37. I'm in med school and my boyfriend is in flying school and ngl…. IT'S HARD. Sometimes we are so busy that we can't see each other for days on end. I guess that's why we even moved in together early in our relationship just so we could see each other. It certainly was a good idea because now, even though we don't go on dates as much, we at least get to spend time with each other more frequently than before

  38. you're mixed handed, which is doing some things better with one hand and other things better with the other hand. ambidextrous is different because it is doing everything with both hands.
